How to Fix Common Home Automation Problems (Part 3)
Part 3 of the series: when the provider's modem won't accept bridge mode, using Sonoff and Tuya together and automating the garage gate.

It is time to talk about the internet provider's modem and what to do when it cannot be set to bridge mode, that is, with its router and access point functions turned off.
This matters because, with the provider's modem routing and broadcasting Wi-Fi at the same time as your router, the house ends up with two networks competing for the same channels, a common cause of offline devices.
In this last part of the series, I talk about the possibilities for integrating Sonoff and Tuya devices, the latter being the platform chosen by the leading manufacturers in Brazil.
And finally, I explain how to automate a garage gate. The QA gate module shown in the video has been discontinued.
In this series, you learned how to solve common problems and can now take your projects to the next level. If you missed the beginning, see part 1, on offline modules, the Wi-Fi network and voice commands, and part 2, on three-way switching, LED dimming and no-neutral devices.
